Introduction

This CD features recordings of preliminary practices for Mahamudra meditation. Great Liberation of the Mother and Great Liberation of the Father are practiced in conjunction with the Highest Yoga Tantra deities Vajrayogini and Heruka respectively. Prayer booklets for these two practices are available from Tharpa.

The extensive Prayers of Request to the Mahamudra Lineage Gurus is included for those who wish to incorporate this into their Mahamudra preliminaries. These verses can be found in the appendices of the books Clear Light of Bliss and Mahamudra Tantra, both available from Tharpa.
