A great Indian Buddhist Master and scholar of the 7th Century AD, who composed, among many other books, the well-known Guide to the Middle Way. In this he clarified Buddha’s wisdom teachings, clearly elucidating the view of the Madhyamika-Prasangika school according to Buddha’s teachings given in the Perfection of Wisdom Sutras.
